Dementia and repeated questions: how can I respond?

The answer may not stay in memory, or the question may express worry. Try a brief, calm answer and notice the feeling behind it. A familiar written reminder can help some people, but repeated questioning is not necessarily deliberate.

You could try: “The appointment is tomorrow. I’ll come with you.”
