Meet the New Dementia Detectives: Helping Children Understand Dementia Through Adventure, Kindness and Inclusion
At The Dementia Detective Academy, we believe that children have the power to change the future.
Through curiosity, kindness, empathy and understanding, young people can help create more dementia-friendly families, schools and communities.
That’s why we’re excited to introduce the newest members of the Dementia Detective Academy – a diverse team of young detectives who each bring their own unique strengths, experiences and perspectives to every adventure.
Because every detective is different.

Meet the Team
🎧 Amina Hassan – The Listening Detective
Amina helps everyone feel heard, valued and understood. She teaches us that sometimes the most important thing we can do is simply listen.
🔍 Ethan Williams – The Clue Finder Detective
Ethan loves solving mysteries and finding clues that others may miss. His attention to detail helps the team uncover important answers.
📸 Priya Patel – The Memory Detective
Priya understands how precious memories can be. She helps protect family stories, special moments and treasured memories.
💡 Leo Chen – The Creativity Detective
Leo thinks outside the box and finds new ways to solve problems. He reminds us that there is often more than one solution.

Maya believes that small acts of kindness can make a big difference. She shows that kindness is one of the greatest detective skills of all.
